Jagan Still in Delusion About Button Nokkudu Rule?

Former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan frequently faces complaints about being extremely away from the ground level and not assessing what is happening at the grassroots stage.

This reflected in the humongous defeat in the 2024 election when Jagan was least expecting the same. While Jagan was confident about retaining power, the public reaction was extremely opposite as his party went from 151 seats to just 11.

But even to this day, Jagan used to be delusional about the kind of public mandate that is sustaining about his party.

While speaking about the alleged public negativity on the NDA government, Jagan said his government is far superior to the current government. “The way in which we administered, Andhra Pradesh does not deserve public negativity or anti incumbency. But the current government is facing a lot of negativity in the first two years itself.”

After having witnessed a historic result, that took YCP from 151 seats to just 11, Jagan still has to be elevational about his performance. A few observers are commenting that appears to be of the impression that his “button nokkudu” administration was fulfilling for all sections of the public while the ground result proved to be stark opposite.

The longer Jagan stays delusional about his own administration and doesn’t understand the actual situation at the ground, the worse the situation could get for YCP, remarks a neural psephologist.

If Jagan really thinks the current government, which is building a solid capital while also bringing companies like TCS, IBM, Microsoft and Google to AP is bad then his calibration needs to be changed.
