Make Good Reel On Govt, Get Rs 1 Lakh Money!

Social media has become a big platform to gain traction amongst the public as this has emerged as the main narrative setting tool these days. In fact, massive public campaigns and destructive revolutions are being built almost entirely on social platforms these days.

Now the Bihar government has done something very interesting with regard to their social media theories.

The Bihar government has brought in a new amendment to its social media policy, under which social media creators will receive financial rewards for making videos on state government schemes and initiatives.

As per latest reports, the revised Bihar Social Media Policy states that eligible creators will be paid ₹10,000 for every 1 lakh views on a video. The maximum payout for a single video has been fixed at ₹1 lakh.

The amendment was cleared by the state cabinet in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary. The objective of this policy is to financially support content creators who promote and highlight Bihar government schemes through their digital content.

While the government is trying to generate positive publicity, through this social media campaign, there are complaints that spending public money on creating reels to push one particular narrative is now a wise idea.
