Retirement Coming Up? What’s Nitin Gadkari Thinking?

Nithin Gadkari has been a constant feature of the BJP government at the central level as he is one of the trusted leaders for the Modi government. However, it appears that he is contemplating a potential retirement from politics soon.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari sparked retirement speculation amid buzz over a possible Cabinet expansion, saying he has worked in public life for 30 years and can’t work much now.

He further stated that the new generation should be given a chance. He believes the younger generation must enter politics and take part in public policy making, while the older generation can continue to guide and mentor them.

However, Gadkari made no formal retirement announcement as of yet as he stressed health and said he wants to work for farmers welfare in his remaining years.

The fact that Nithin has publicly communicated that he has been around for more than 30 years and is no longer able to do the job with as much vigour is an indication perhaps. People are already speculating if Nithin is contemplating a potential retirement soon.
