High Command’s Decision Will Reflect On Revanth’s Power

Telangana Minister Konda Surekha has left for Delhi following a summons from the Congress high command. She is scheduled to meet AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal and has also sought an appointment with AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge.

It is well known that recent comments made by Konda Surekha’s daughter, Sushmita, regarding CM Revanth Reddy and Parkal MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy in Geesukonda had sparked significant debate.

The TPCC Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC) had issued a show-cause notice to Konda Surekha, seeking an explanation for her daughter’s remarks; she subsequently submitted her explanation to Committee Chairman Mallu Ravi.

Following this, the TPCC forwarded a report to the high command concerning both Konda Surekha and the issue involving Planning Commission Vice-Chairman Chinna Reddy regarding the Wanaparthy affairs.

Amidst these developments, Minister Konda Surekha’s visit to Delhi has generated suspense regarding the decision the high command might take concerning her.

Speculation regarding a Telangana cabinet expansion is rife in Delhi. Political circles are abuzz with discussions that the Congress high command may take a crucial decision regarding cabinet reshuffles and additions.

It will be very interesting to see how the Congress High Command will respond in this issue!

Revanth Reddy is the leader who brought Congress to Power in Telangana. Despite giving Telangana, Congress Party could not conquer Telangana.

Revanth Reddy’s Charishma helped the party a lot in the 2023 elections.

Taking action against Konda Surekha means it will send a positive message that the Chief Minister has the High Command’s backing.

If the High Command lets her go like they usually go, Revanth Reddy will become weak and obviously, the other leaders will fancy their chances leading to indiscipline in the party and the government.
