Sea Plane Operations At Hyd’s Hussain Sagar?

The Hussain Sagar is one of the most prominent and tourist friendly destinations in the city of Hyderabad. It is located right at the heart of the city and brings several visitors each year.

Now the latest developments are suggesting that the government of Telangana is in touch with the Ministry of civil aviation to bring additional tourist attractions to Hussain Sagar.

Incidentally, Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy happened to meet with civil aviation Minister, Rammohan Naidu, who is from the neighbouring state of Andhra Pradesh.

The two of them held discussion on multiple matters and were reportedly contemplating multiple ideas as well. This is precisely something very interesting is happening now.

Ram Mohan Naidu revealed that Revanth Reddy, discussed the promising idea of starting sea plan landing operations at Hussain Sagar. This is very ambitious and innovative attempt from the Telangana government, but it could have a strong social economical presence if executed well.

Reviewed timelines for the Warangal and Adilabad airports, important projects for the state’s industrial corridors as well as heritage circuits. Also discussed the promising idea to develop Hussain Sagar Lake for seaplane operations, the Civil aviation minister said.

For now, the sea plane operations at Hussain Sagar is just at idea stage and only time will tell if the government would actually go ahead with this idea and commence the activities. It would be a sensational visual to see sea planes at the iconic Hussain Sagar and that’s for sure.
