Revanth’s Powerful Move: Konda Surekha Fired!

One of the major political rehash activities has happened in Telangana in the form of the removal of Konda Surekha from the cabinet ministry post. This decision was communicated by the chief minister Revanth Reddy office, a few minutes back.

The latest communication from the chief minister’s office is that chief minister Revanth Reddy has removed Konda Surekha from the endowments Ministry position.

According to the latest communication from the CMO,Revanth Reddy has decided to drop Konda Surekha, Minister, from the Council of Ministers with immediate effect. This news was communicated to the governor office already.

Chief Minister has also decided to revoke the appointment of Chinna Reddy as Vice Chairman of Telangana Planning Board with immediate effect. In the place of Chinna Reddy, Gadwal Vijayalakshmi will take charge.

For a long time now, Konda Surekha and her family had been openly speaking against chief minister Revanth Reddy and also the Congress leadership. But it was suspected that her seniority in the party would provide her with immunity.

But it appears that Revanth Reddy has already found middle ground with the Congress high command, and he is in their best interests. The fact that he was able to remove a senior cabinet minister at will is an indication of the same.

The Congress high command had already been valuing Revanth Reddy, very highly for bringing them to power in Telangana. Also, the way he has been handling the internal affairs has added to the positive image. Now he is in the big league in the congress and going against him can have fatal political consequences.
