Sai Reddy Complicates Things Even More For His Party

Former Rajya Sabha MP Vijayasai Reddy announced a new political party today but did not reveal its name.

He announced that he would not be the CM Candidate for his party but would remain on the sidelines like a Bal Thackeray-like Mentor.

Until now, the difficult task for Sai Reddy is to identify formidable leaders who will choose to join his party, refusing TDP, YSR Congress, and Janasena.

But then, all of a sudden, his party needs a CM Candidate who should be naturally one of the biggest faces in the state.

In fact, that leader should be bigger than Sai Reddy in popularity. If there is someone aspiring to be a Chief Minister or if someone has that stature, why would he choose a number four party in the state?

Bal Thackeray, as a mentor and ideologue of a party, had a strong Hindutva and Maratha image driving him. But then, Sai Reddy does not have that ideological support.

At least to try and attract the neutral voters, he has his name figured in many cases. So, the road ahead is not at all easy for his yet to be named party.
