Tamil Nadu politics are generally not short of interesting, and that got particularly aggravated after Thalapathy Vijay became the chief minister of the state.
Adding to the buzz is the long-standing speculation surrounding Vijay and actress Trisha. While rumours about their alleged relationship have surfaced from time to time, neither has officially confirmed such claims. The topic continues to attract public attention, with occasional political comments adding another layer to the discussion.
Now, Bollywood actress and sitting MP Kangana Ranaut has expressed her opinion on this matter as she has comment support of Trisha.
Kangana Ranaut commented on the controversy involving actor Trisha and alleged remarks made by Tamil Nadu Leader of Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin.
She said attacking a woman’s character has always been used to discredit women. Kangana added that the issue is not limited to India and said women are often targeted when it comes to abuse and character assassination.
She questioned when such attacks will stop and urged society to look within and ask how women are viewed and whether they are truly respected. She gave the implication that Trisha is being unnecessarily targeted in this saga with Thalapathy Vijay. She is hinting that this episode is happening between 2 individuals but it is Trisha’s character which is being targeted.
Kangana certainly has a strong point to make but such is the operational procedure of the Indian political system, and we will have to deal with the same.
