Pic Talk: Lokesh Marks CBN’s Arrest Day With 53 Lamps

Today marks three years for the fateful incident pertaining to the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu. Incidentally, Chandrababu Naidu was arrested by the Jagan government earlier in 2023 on the exact same day, September 9.

Now this is being reminisced by the IT Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Lokesh and he has shared a new set of pictures on social media encapsulating the same.

Exactly three years ago, Nara Chandrababu Naidu garu was illegally arrested and confined in jail for 53 days. In protest of that dark day, with the chant ‘Truth has triumphed,’ I lit 53 earthen lamps at Undavalli residence.

The pinnacle of five decades of selfless political values, Chandrababu garu emerged unscathed from false cases like a washed diamond, with the blessings of crores of Telugu people worldwide, Lokesh posted.

The concept of lighting 53 candles in reminisce to the 53 days that Chandrababu was jailed back in 2023 was carried by the TDP today with multiple such events in parts of Andhra Pradesh.
