Is Foreign Media Against Modi Govt?

The anti-CEC protests are rocking Delhi over the controversial SIR. The Opposition INDIA bloc and CJP are leading the protests, with support from various youth and student organisations.

International media outlets such as Reuters, Bloomberg, CNN and Al Jazeera, along with several social media handles and even some Japanese media outlets, are surprisingly covering the ongoing youth protests in Delhi. This extensive international media coverage has not just stunned many, it also triggered mixed reactions on the Modi government across the globe.

What is even more surprising is that global media coverage is largely focused on CJP and other youth-led protests, while coverage of Rahul Gandhi remains relatively limited. Rahul Gandhi is not receiving the same level of recognition and importance in international media coverage.

This is also a key reason why sections of the foreign public may perceive these protests as going beyond political agendas, viewing the participation of young people as a genuine expression of public concern.

Now, all eyes are on the Modi-Amit Shah duo and the BJP administration as the things are going out of control and the Union government is drawing a lot of negativity and backlash over the CEC Gyanesh Kumar.

How will the BJP tackle the whole issue and try to take control measures and do the damage control. The more the delay, the more damage is more and the global reputation of Modi is also at stake. This is certainly a major challenge to Modi-Shah.
