Ambati As Home Minister: Worst Damage To Jagan Reddy?

Almost every single cabinet minister associated with the previous YS Jagan administration faced humiliating defeats in the 2024 assembly election. This was reflecting on the pathetic governance that was delivered for five years period.

One of the main names associated with the previous cabinet as obviously Ambati Rambabu, who had served as the irrigation minister. During his irrigation minister tenure, he was not able to even brief on the hallmark Polavaram project and that reflected the scenario back then.

On top of that, Ambati was infamous for abusing Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan on a consistent basis, which worked even worse in the case of YCP.

And now we have a new discussion happening as Ambati Rambabu has come out in front of the Police and publicly said he would be the home minister for six months after Jagan becomes the CM again next term.

This has immediately created another negative spiral on the YCP, as people are starting to question the integrity of the administration in the first place.

Many people on social media are pointing out that the purpose of a cabinet minister must be to ensure full responsibility and dignity towards the job. But in the case of people like Ambati, they’re already warning the Police about consequences if they become the home minister.

Issuing such comments in the public while the election is actually more than two and half years from now is apparently displaying the power hungry nature of several YCP leaders. They are questioning the integrity of such leaders who are threatening the department already about returning to power.
