No Car, No Cases: Vangaveeti Radha Is Poorest Candidate In Vij!

The local body election fever has truly caught up in Andhra Pradesh and the interesting case of Vijayawada election is becoming an interesting topic.. This seat has the candidacy of JSP, YCP and one independent candidate.

If we have a look at the candidates who are contesting the Vijayawada seat, the electoral picture is very interesting in nature.

JSP had announced Vangaveeti Radha as the candidate for the mayor position while YCP announced Rayana Bhagya Lakshmi. AB Venkateswara Rao is the independent candidate.

If we have a look at the assets, Vangaveeti Radha is the poorest candidate, and he does not even have an own car on his name. He has declared assets worth around ₹3.28 crore. As ironic as it may sound, he is the poorest candidate in contention.

He is closely followed by YCP candidate Bhagyalakshmi, who declared ₹6.23 crore assets. She has disclosed two cars in her name and coincidentally, she is the only person in the contest to have declared cars on her name.

Other hand, we have the case of AB Venkateshwar Rao, who is a retired IPS officer and he has declared more than ₹21 crore. Interestingly enough, he does not have a car on his name, despite such a massive disposal of income.

When it comes to police cases, it shall be noted that both Radha and Venkateshwara do not have any cases against them while the YCP candidate, despite being a female has three cases against her.
