Cut Their Hands: Balakrishna Fires

With the growing incidents of attacks on Hindu temples and desecration of idols in Andhra Pradesh, actor, TDP’s politburo leader and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna visited his Hindupur Assembly constituency and interacted with locals, farmers and addressed the media. However, during his media briefing, Balakrishna made sensational comments which became a hot topic in political circles.

“One must condemn the series of incidents against Hindu Gods, Temples. Not just condemn such incidents, cut their hands first,” said Balakrishna referring to the culprits who were involved in the destruction and vandalising of Hindu Gods.

Stating that about 127 Hindu temples were attacked in recent times in Andhra Pradesh, Balayya questioned how 3 silver lions got missed from the Chariot at Goddess Durga’s Indrakeeladri Temple. Balayya also raised the issues such as Antharvethi’s ancient chariot burning incident, destruction of Lord Rama idol at Ramatheertham Temple and damage to Goddess Sita idol. He said the government’s callous and careless attitude is visible with the series of incidents. Balakrishna also recited some mantras and showed his Bhakti towards Gods.

Talking about the farmers who suffered losses, MLA Balakrishna blamed YSRCP government over their inefficiency and inaction. He said the TDP government was prompt in responding to the woes of farmers and had supplied all types of seeds to farmers. He said the YCP government is doing nothing to the farmers.

“People gave Okka Chance. Is the state developing? Is the state progressing?” asked Balakrishna pointing out at YS Jagan’s government. He asked people of the state to introspect and said how people of all walks of lives are suffering, struggling. Balayya said the fall of the YSRCP government has begun.
