In a gruesome incident, an aged couple brutally murdered their two daughters owing to superstitious beliefs in Madanapalle of Chittoor district. This heinous crime got national attention and it threw light on how superstitions could spoil the lives. The police arrested the couple, Purushottam Naidu and Padmja on Monday and put them behind bars.
On Tuesday, Padmaja was taken to a government hospital in Chittoor for medical and Covid-19 tests as per the instructions of a local court. However, Padmaja behaved strangely at the hospital and a video of her conduct is really weird.
Claiming herself to be lord Shiva, Padmaja says, “I’m Lord Shiva… I brought this Corona and did not emerge from China. I’m having halal (Poison) in my throat. No need to test me for Corona. I’m not going to die of Corona.”
When the police requested her to cooperate for the tests, Padmaja shouts at them saying, “Who are you to tell me? I’m Shiva. The Corona will come to an end in the month of March.”
The police and hospital staff managed to conduct tests on her and finally Padmaja was taken into custody. Meanwhile the police have fastened their investigation and are probing this crime in all angles.
Going into details, on Sunday night, the accused, Padmaja, used dumbbells to bludgeon her daughters – Alekhya (27) and Sai Divya (22) to death. Her husband too reportedly helped her in the murder.
When asked about the incident, she said their daughters will come alive again after the sunrise, as “kalyuga” will end and “satyuga” will start from Monday.
