‘Tourist Leaders Of Andhra Pradesh’

YCP MP V. Vijayasai Reddy termed Opposition leader and TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, his son and former minister N. Lokesh and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan as tourist leaders. Pawan Kalyan is the foster child of Naidu and all three of them visit the state only to speak to the media. They do not have a base in Andhra Pradesh, he said.

The MP said that there is no opposition in Andhra Pradesh. The Opposition leader was not in Andhra Pradesh on the day of elections, he pointed out.

Reddy reminded that Naidu fumed at the people and said that people were only interested in shifting to cities in neighbouring states to work as maids and servants but not in saving Amaravati and asked if Naidu, his wife, son and daughter-in-law also moved to Hyderabad to work as servants there. These leaders have been taught a lesson by the people itself, he said.

The yellow media hosts discussions with Raghurama Krishnam Raju and Sabbam Hari who keep sermonising, despite being involved in cheap politics.

During 2019 general elections, the TDP chief alleged that the EVMs were tampered and hence, the results swung in favour of the YCP but this time, people voted manually with the Swastik mark and the TDP was crushed to defeat, he said, adding that people voted for Jagan’s good governance.

Further, he said that neither SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar nor Chandrababu Naidu can stop people from voting to what they want. In places where unanimous election did not happen, the people gave a clear verdict in favour of YCP, he pointed out.

Political observers said that it the TDP’s defeat in the municipal polls was much debilitating than that during the Assembly elections with all the 11 corporations and 69 of the 71 municipalities in the state.
