TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has been booked in a case for creating a panic among public that a new variant of Covid-19 by name N440K got detected in Kurnool district of AP and it most dangerous strain ever. But experts rubbed off this remark and eventually the TDP chief had to face the consequence.
A resident of Kurnool lodged a complaint against Chandrababu for spreading false reports and under sections 188 and 505(1)(b)(2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 54 of the Disaster Management Act, Chandrababu is charged.
Reacting to this AP minister Kodali Nani came down heavily on Chandrababu. “This so called virus variant was not detected in Kurnool district but in Naravaaripalli of Chittoor district and strain name is NARA CORONA or it is also called CBN 420. This virus was born 70 years back and his main motto is to cause destruction in AP,” slammed Kodali.
The YCP minister added that whatever Chandrababu says, he pro-media spreads the news faster than the virus. It’s Chandrababu and his yellow media responsible for the outbreak of the virus because they wanted elections and went to the High Court. Now the cases are reporting in huge numbers.
Kodali added that AP government is doing everything in their capacity. “We have administered vaccine to 6 lakh people in a day and we are ready to do more. Yes there is vaccine shortage and our CM Jagan has written twice to PM Modi regarding vaccine supply,” said Kodali.
