Fire Breaks Out At AIIMS Delhi, No Injuries Reported

The fire broke out at Delhi’s AIIMS and with immediate response from the fire department, there were no injuries reported.

After a fire broke at the ninth floor of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi on Wednesday night, as many as twenty-two fire engines arrived at the spot to put the fire down. No injuries were reported and the floor was vacated in time. The fire department received an alert at 10:32 pm.

The Convergence Block of the hospital where the fire occurred does not house the patients but is for diagnostic laboratories and examination sections. The fire was reportedly caused by a short circuit in a refrigerator on the ninth floor.
