Mission 2024: All Eyes On 15 Parties Meeting!

From Chandrababu to Jayalalithaa to KCR, many politicians made numerous attempts for the Third Front. In 2019 general elections, Telangana CM KCR did meet CMs and politicians for a non-BJP and non-Congress Front in New Delhi. But with BJP sweeping the polls, KCR’s plans shattered and there is no word about the Third Front.

Once again a Front alternative of BJP and Congress is under progress and this time it is being led by political strategist Prashant Kishor. Having failed in tackling the covid-19 second wave, PM Modi’s graph has drastically come down and Prashant Kishor entered the scene at the right time.

On June 12th, PK met Nationalistic Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar and held talks for nearly three hours. On Monday both met yet again and discussed the latest political situation in the country for about an hour. Following the meeting, Pawar has extended an invitation for about 15 political parties to discuss the ‘Third Front.’

Prashant Kishor has initiated a program called ‘Mission 2024’ and under this, these 15 political parties will be choosing a leader who can counter PM Narendra Modi. Former BJP leader Yashwant Sinha who joined Trinamool Congress before West Bengal Assembly polls, is also playing an active role in gathering parties across the country.

Surprisingly, the ruling parties of Telugu states, KCR led TRS and Jagan led YSRCP did not get an invitation for this meeting. Also Tamil Nadu CM Stalin’s DMK party was also not invited.

Overall a lot is happening and is going to happen. But if we take a look at the history, ‘Third Front’ plans never worked out yet this time with a proper planning strategist Prashant Kishor is leading from the front and he is known for his execution.
