India Extends Fuel Support to Sri Lanka Amid Crisis
India has sent 38,000 metric tonnes of fuel to Sri Lanka to ease the island nation’s growing energy shortage. The shipment includes 20,000 MT of diesel and 18,000 MT of petrol, delivered through the Indian Oil Corporation’s local unit. The emergency support followed talks between Narendra Modi and Anura Kumara Dissanayake as global supply disruptions triggered by West Asia tensions hit Sri Lanka’s fuel imports.
