US First Lady Melania Trump skipped President Donald Trump’s China visit and stayed in Washington DC to focus on child welfare and foster care initiatives linked to her “Be Best” campaign. Reports said she marked 180 days of the “Fostering the Future” Executive Order. Unlike Trump’s 2017 China visit, Melania did not join the delegation this time, while Trump travelled with officials and business leaders.
