Vijay Honours Chess Hero With ₹50 Lakh Reward

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay felicitated R Praggnanandhaa after his historic triumph at the 2026 Norway Chess tournament. Vijay presented a ₹50 lakh cash reward to the young grandmaster and also shared a friendly game of chess with him at the Secretariat, celebrating a proud moment for Indian sports.
