Strong 6.2 Quake Jolts Afghan, Tremors Reach Delhi

A powerful 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region on Saturday evening. Tremors were felt across Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan, China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. As the quake originated at a depth of 215 kilometres, authorities have reported no casualties or major damage so far.
