Delhi’s Bold EV Shift: Petrol Two-Wheelers to End by 2028
Delhi has approved its new EV Policy 2026, offering full road tax exemption and subsidies for electric vehicles while aggressively pushing clean mobility. Electric cars under ₹30 lakh get tax-free benefits, and buyers of EVs receive incentives and scrappage bonuses. Most importantly, new petrol two-wheelers will no longer be registered from April 2028, marking a major shift toward a fully electric future in the capital.
