PM CARES Fund Has ₹8,452 Crore, Spent ₹88 Lakh

The PM CARES Fund had a corpus of ₹8,452 crore at the end of 2024-25 but spent only ₹87.85 lakh during the year, according to its latest accounts. Around 93% of the fund, worth nearly ₹7,847 crore, was kept in fixed deposits, with the disclosure released after a delay.
