Padma Shri Awardee Gets SIR Notice!

Padma Shri awardee Harekala Hajabba received a notice during the Election Commission’s SIR process in Karnataka due to a name mismatch. His name appeared as “Hajabba” in the 2002 voter list, while his current documents carry “Harekala Hajabba”. Officials later withdrew the notice after identifying the discrepancy and visited his home to verify and correct the records.
