CJI Surya Kant Rejects RAGA’s Meeting Request Over SIR Row

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant has declined a request from INDIA Bloc leaders including Rahul Gandhi seeking an appointment to discuss alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The leaders wanted to submit a representation over the issue, amid escalating protests demanding CEC Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation.
