CM Announces ₹25L Aid & Govt Jobs For Stampede Victims

The death toll in the Kolkata Durga Puja pandal stampede has risen to 19, with 25 others injured. West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari announced ₹25 lakh compensation and a government job for each deceased victim’s family. The government will also cover medical expenses for the injured.
