India Beat Australia, Qualify For CT Finals

Team India has completed the quintessential part of the ongoing Championship Trophy by beating Australia in the semifinals. This will mean that India is the first team to qualify for the upcoming finals on March 9.

India was comprehensive with the bat after restricting Australia to a par score of 264 in the first innings. Kohli led the charge with his fighting 84 well compiled runs.

KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya were clinical with the bat in the end as India completed the run chase with 4 wickets in hand.

At the end of the day, the men in blue can take great pride and confidence after having beaten Australia in the semifinals.

India will now be facing the winner of the second semifinal between South Africa and New Zealand tomorrow. The finale is scheduled to be played on March 9 at the Dubai International Stadium.
