15-Year-Old’s Destruction: Is Team India Entry Inevitable?

Indian Cricket is always on the hunt for exciting talents, and we have the story of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, which would perfectly fit into this category. This 15 year old youngster has been an absolute sensational form in recent times.

Even last night in the game against Mumbai Indians, Vaibhav Suryavanshi fearlessly took on the greatest bowler of this generation, Jaspreet Bumrah and hit him for the sixth off the very first ball.

If this youngster who is just 15 years old is confidently batting against Bumrah, then he is certainly ready to take on the World when given the opportunity.

Now that this talented aggressive batsman has turned 15 recently, he is now eligible to play for the Indian cricket team and this is more or less a warranted move.

The Indian T20 team is in great need of a consistently aggressive opening better along with Abhishek Sharma, and this could perfectly open the doors for the young Vaibhav. Other opening choice, Sanju Samson might have been brilliant in the recent T20 World Cup, but young Vaibhav is going to be at the future of the Indian T20 set up if he carries the momentum.

There is already a growing demand in the social media circles to bring Vaibhav into the Indian T20 team at the earliest so that he can get adequate training and exposure at a young age, which will help him later.
