Tilak scored 19 run from the first 22 balls and he ended up scoring a sensational 82 runs from the remaining 23 balls in his innings. This is to be regarded as one of the fastest accelerations witnessed in the history of the tournament.
Moreover, Tilak was able to complete his century within 45 balls, which projects a strike rate of over 220. He was a completely different beast in the second half of his innings, and he is being applauded by everyone for putting on a clinical performance with the bat last night.
