Historic: RCB Won 2nd Trophy, Joined MI & CSK’s Elite Club!

A piece of history has been created in the ongoing season of IPL 2026 as Royal Challengers Bengaluru were able to comprehensively beat Gujarat Titans in the final game.

Gujarat batted first and were absolutely pathetic as they got to just 155 runs, which was nowhere close to being enough in a big game like the IPL final. The entire first inning was an absolute boredom fest with no action happening.

In the RCB was very comfortable as they got a very positive start, but things went South in the 60 runs region as they lost a couple of wickets. But one of the all-time great players, Virat Kohli was absolutely brilliant with the bat as an anchored, the innings and took RCB to their second title.

After being without a trophy for 18 years, RCB have now scripted a new piece of history by winning the trophy, two times in two years. This will go down as one of the greatest comeback stories in the IPL history, and perhaps even in importing industry.

RCB has been one of the most consistent and aggressive teams in the season, and they are rightly the champions again.

And surprisingly, RCB joined the elite club of MI and CSK by winning back-to-back IPL titles in 2025 and 2026. This historic achievement adds another glorious chapter to RCB’s legacy and gives its fans yet another reason to celebrate.
