3 Losses From 4 Games: Is Shreyas Struggling With Captaincy?

The Indian cricket team is currently undergoing an interesting transaction period with the Captain shifting procedure. The Indian team management has replaced Surya Kumar Yadav with a new captain in the form of Shreyas Iyer, who has been very successful in the IPL.

However, Shreyas Iyer has started on a very bad note with the Indian team as he did not register a single victory till now.

Iyer who is the new captain of the Indian team has had a very tough start as he lost both the T20 games against Ireland followed by one defeat against England which came last night. Another game against England got concluded without a result due to rain.

It turns out to be that Shreyas Iyer who is the new captain of the Indian team has lost three out of the four games that he is involved with and the one remaining game concluded without a result. This is the worst possible start for any Indian captain in the T20 format in recent years.

Shreyas Iyer has been one of the brightest young talent in India for the last few years and great things were expected when he was announced as the captain. This slow start can deteriorate his confidence, and we have to see how he can bounce back from the same.
