There are multiple reports from reliable channels that the team management has communicated to Rohit that he is not a part of the plans for the World Cup squad.

This is unexpected decision considering that the World Cup is just one year away and losing a senior player like Rohit Sharma, who had done so much for the team is preposterous by nature.
