Sunrisers Hyderabad have been one of the most entertaining teams in the history of IPL and the aggressive brand of Cricket that they had been playing is truly cherished by Cricket fans.

One of the crucial players that changed the sporting style of Sunrisers Hyderabad is obviously Abhishek Sharma and he is one of the most loved player for fans. He enjoys a superstar status in Hyderabad, for all the brilliant innings that he had played for the Hyderabad team.

However, the latest developments from reliable national media channels are suggesting that Abhishek Sharma is disappointed with the SRH management and could very well be leaving the team shortly.

It is being reported that Abhishek Sharma, who was hopeful of getting the captaincy position is not happy with Ishan Kishan being promoted as the captain.

There are reports that Cummins could be unavailable for the upcoming season of IPL 2027 and the SRH management has collectively decided to handover the captaincy role to Ishaan Kishan.

In terms of seniority and loyalty, it is Abhishek Sharma who had been with the team for a longer period of time, and it is natural for him to expect the captaincy position as well. But only time will tell if he is truly unhappy with Ishan Kishan being priority over him for captaincy post.

There are reports that Mumbai and Punjab are interested in getting the services of Abhishek Sharma if he decides to leave Hyderabad. But nothing is consolidated for now.

It must be kept in mind that Sunrisers Hyderabad values Abhishek Sharma very highly, and they will do everything in their power to keep hold of him for years to come. Convincing Abhishek Sharma to switch teams is impractical for now. But it must also be kept in mind that funnier things have happened and SRH management must be aware of the same.
