George Floyd Tested Positive For Coronavirus In April

In the latest update according to the full autopsy, George Floyd tested positive for coronavirus in April, but his death is not caused due to it. George Floyd was no longer symptomatic when four Minneapolis cops’ knee pinned him down and caused his death.

Though the first autopsy conducted reports has that Floyd’s death was not caused due to the asphyxiation by the pressure on his neck, the independent autopsy conducted by the family maintains it a homicide that caused his heart stop when officer Derek Chauvin compressed his neck for more than 8 minutes, even after the victim pleaded multiple times ‘I can’t breathe’.

Derek Chauvin was first terminated from the service and later charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter of George Floyd, and when another video came up showing three other officers as well knee pinned him down, they too were arrested with a charge of murder accomplices against them. The other three officers who were fired and were arrested, are Thomas Lane, J. Alexander Kueng and Tou Thao.

In George Floyd’s autopsy, the medical examiner’s office also mentioned about other significant conditions like heart disease, Fentanyl intoxication and recent methamphetamine.
