US: 30,000 Daily Cases, Highest Since May 1

The number of coronavirus cases in some countries downtrend with less number of daily cases and deaths, some states in the USA has been still recording the soaring high numbers. The US reported more than 30,000 new coronavirus cases on Friday, which is the highest number recorded since May 1.

The new coronavirus cases in Arizona, Florida, California, South Carolina, and Nevada had record-high cases in a single day increases on Friday. The Oklahoma state health officials are concerned over the increasing cases of coronavirus already and the gatherings for President Trump’s rally in Tulsa are worrying them more.

The latest recorded cases in the states from South, West, and Midwest are seeing much in younger people from pubs and parties, post reopens. Florida alone recorded more than 4000 new cases on Saturday, a single-day record again. Clearly, the reopen seems to be showing adverse results as expected with the cases appeared to be going down in May and the June numbers are upward.

The CDC predictions say that there will be nearly 145000 total COVID-19 related deaths by July 11. In the US, more than 2.2 million people have been infected with the coronavirus and at least 120,000 have died due to it.
