India has breached into the seven Lakh and 20,000 mark of Covid-19 cases and deaths respectively. In the last 24 hours, 22,252 new cases and 467 deaths have been reported. With this the total cases and death count now stands at 7,19,665 and 20,160 respectively.
The total number of active cases is 2,59,557 and the cured people count is 4,39,948. ICMR claimed that 2,41,430 samples were tested yesterday while the total samples tested as of July 6th is 1,02,11,092.
Maharashtra is the leading state with most number of Covid-19 cases with over two lakh cases and also over nine thousand deaths.
Telangana has stormed into the 25,000 mark of cases while Andhra Pradesh entered the 20,000 mark.
