Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor’s brother Siddhant has been arrested by the Bengaluru Police after conducting a drug test and results were positive. Going into details, the cops held raids on Sunday night at a pub on tip-off and six people tested positive for drugs while Siddhant Kapoor was one of them.
The police collected samples of 35 guests of the pub and six results arrived positive. The police suspect it to be a rave party and reports say that Siddhant has been invited as a DJ. The police confirmed Siddhant’s arrest and he has been sent to Ulsoor police station.
In his first reaction, actor Shakti Kapoor, Siddhant’s father said this is not possible and refused to comment further. He is expected to fly to Bengaluru later in the day.
Bengaluru cops have been acting tough on drug use and in 2020, they grilled many celebrities of Kannada film industry.
Siddhanth is an actor as well and he acted in ‘Shootout at Wadala’, ‘Ugly, ‘Haseena Parkar’, ‘Chehre’, etc.
Shraddha Kapoor is currently in Spain shooting for her next film and it is unclear whether she received information on her brother’s detention.
