Unlock 3.0: Following Are The Guidelines

In view of the Corona crisis, the central government has decided not to allow educational institutions and coaching centres to function. With Unlock 2.0 scheduled to end on July 31, the central government issued guidelines for Unlock 3.0 set to begin from August 1, 2020. It also told that the guidelines were framed after consultations with the states and the union territories.

Following are the guidelines

— Cinema halls, swimming pools, amusement parks, theatres, bars, auditoriums, assembly halls will not be allowed to open till August 31.

— International flights will be operating only under Vande Bharat Mission. Metro rails will also not function.

— Restrictions on social, political, sports, entertainment, educational, cultural and religious programmes will continue to be implemented.

— After August 5, yoga centre and gyms can open. However, they should function in compliance with the Covid-19 protocols issued by the Union health ministry.

— In the Independence Day celebrations scheduled to be held on Augusut 15, social distancing and wearing of masks should be followed.

— Till August 31, lockdown will continue to be implemented till August 31. No other activities, except the emergency ones, should be permitted. Contact tracing and house-to-house survey should be taken up in these zones.

— Prohibition can be imposed on activities outside the containment zones if the respective state governments feel necessary.

— Transportation of goods within states and between statesdoes not have any restrictions. There is no need of e-permits, special permissions for this purpose.

— The protocol regarding limited attendees at social gatherings like weddings and last rites will continue to be implemented in the same manner. Not more than 50 can attend marriage functions and not more than 20 can be present at the funerals.

— The night curfew being implemented across the country since March 25 has been lifted.

The remaining rules and relaxations with regard to other areas and sectors will continue to be implemented as usual.
