The song ‘Besharam Rang’ from Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Pathaan’ has created a huge controversy. The main reason was the color of the bikini worn by Deepika Padukone.
The bikini was in orange color and several Right Wing activists including BJP leaders objected the orange color to the bikini and trolled Deepika.
And here is the reply from Deepika fans. An old video involving current Union Minister Smriti Irani has surfaced on social media and this was in the year 1998 when she contested for the Miss India competition. In the video we see Smriti wearing a saffron colored top walking on the stage.
Sharing the video Deepika fans hit back at Right Wing trolls and questioned what they have to say now? Indeed this bikini controversy was deliberately ignited by vested interests and it was silly that some called for a boycott of the film, ‘Pathaan.’
It was even more shameful with Madhya Pradesh Home Minister demanding for removal of Deepika’s bikini scene from the song. Wonder when a minister got time to watch the song and review it?
