Singh Is In US Presidential Race

The 2024 US Presidential election is fast-approaching. Incumbent President Joe Biden, a member of Democratic Party, is running for re-election. Biden’s predecessor and former US president Donald Trump had already announced that he will be contesting for the post. And now, Indian-origin US citizen Hirsh Vardhan Singh is now in the race for the Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential election.

38-year-old Hirsh Vardhan Singh has released a 3-minute video seeking the Republican candidate post for the presidency of the United States. In his official announcement, Singh identified himself as an America First, Constitutional Carry and Pro-Life Conservative. Singh highlighted his role in rejuvenating the conservative wing of New Jersey’s Republican Party, starting from 2017. He said he is a lifelong Republican.

51-year-old Nikki Haley and 37-year-old Vivek Ganapathy Ramaswamy are the others who are in the race for Republican candidate. Interestingly, both Nikki and Vivek have Indian origins too.

It is very evident that there is a great competition among the Republicans for the top post. Republican National Convention (RNC), a series of presidential nominating conventions, going to finalise the Republican Candidate for the US Presidential candidature. So, overall, Indian-origin Americans are leading the race in the US Presidential election.
