Hundreds of masked looters attacked the stores in Philadelphia state in the US. They charged in retail stores like Apple store, Footlocker, and Lululemon among other stores and looted.
The Philadelphia police arrested 20 teenagers and recovered 2 firearms from them. The teens involved in the robbery were recorded by the onlookers at the stores when they entered on Wednesday. The videos are now going viral.
Police reacted immediately after they received reports about a mob breaking into the stores at Rittenhouse Square around 8 pm, just after the protesters dispersed from a gathering at City Hall. The protest was going on demanding justice for Eddie Irizarry, who was shot and killed by a Philadelphia police officer last month.
The videos show the Apple Stores in chaos with iPhones and iPads scattered across the display tables and eventually, many Apple products were abandoned due to their anti-theft features.
