Girlfriend Trashes Hard Drive Containing Rs 5900 Cr Bitcoins

Following the onset of the Donal Trump regime in the USA, the value of bitcoin grew steeply in value. However, there’s one man in the UK who is disturbed by the very reference of bitcoin as his girlfriend threw away his hard drive which has bitcoin worth Rs 5000+ crore.

Going into the story, Howells, a native of Newport, UK had a hard drive which had 8000 bitcoin stored in it. The value of this volume of bitcoin is around Rs 5900 in the current market.

However, the sad part for him is that his girlfriend Eddy-Evans threw away this hard drive in a housecleaning operation recently. This hard drive was piled inside a dustbin bag and disposed off at a nearby dump.

The statement from the GF says that she threw away the bag after her boyfriend begged her to and she wasn’t aware of the fact that the bag had the mentioned hard drive in it.

She says she is least bothered about the money that is involved with it but wants her boyfriend to find it as he’s fully invested in it and losing sanity ever since it got disposed.

Howells says the Newport authorities aren’t letting him excavate their garbage disposal unit despite repeated attempts. In total, a hard drive with bitcoin worth Rs 5900 crore, piled up inside a bag sits somewhere in the midst of a 100,000 tonne waste dump in Newport, UK.

The authorities are saying they can’t permit an excavation operation as it poses several health and environmental hazards. In response, Howells says he will definitely find the hard drive one day, and if the county helps him in the process, he would donate 10% of the money for local development.
