US Election 2020: All Eyes On 4 Battleground States

The US Election has kept the world nail-biting since the election day. It is still the same or even tenser as the race gets close with tight margins in the remaining six states. As per the AP, Joe Biden has won 264 electoral votes and Trump is at 214 out of the needed 270 to win.

The battleground states that have no made any projection yet are Alaska, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania. But the thin margins and new votes in four states Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, and Pennsylvania gain the attention.

As of now, there are only 50,000 ballots left to count in the Georgia race, while Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Arizona are heading towards finishing tally.

In Georgia, Trump seems to be up by less than 20,000 votes and there are still 50,000 votes left to be counted. In Pennsylvania, a huge number of votes from Philadelphia are expected to come in Biden’s rescue, though Trump already has a 160,000 lead in the state. The mail-in votes have been in favor of Biden.

In Arizona and Nevada, Biden is enjoying a lead over Trump, but with a narrow margin. It has to be seen if the new votes will be giving a lead to Trump or join the lead of Biden.

Trump’s First Tweet Today

President Donald Trump’s many tweets and social media posts have been labeled by Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube since the election day. As the first tweet on Thursday, Donald Trump said ‘STOP THE COUNT!’

Trump has been alleging the conspiracy in vote-counting in states Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Michigan since yesterday.
