Donald Trump signed a record number of executive orders after taking charge as the 47th President of the US.
While the executive order to end birthright citizenship has become controversial, here is the list of other crucial orders he signed on for.
- Donald Trump signed an order for the US to exit the World Health Organization, saying that Washington was unfairly paying more than China to fund the UN health body.
- An executive order requiring all federal workers to return to office full-time. Work from Home allowances existing from Covid time are now unavailable.
- President Trump withdrew the US from the Paris climate accord, repeating an action he did during his first term.
- The President of the US signed an order to impose severe new restrictions on immigration and asylum in the US and also declared he would send the troops to the US-Mexico border.
- An executive order to end birthright citizenship that affects all illegal immigrants and also the other people with a different nationality on work, and student visas in the US.
- Trump issued orders repealing the promotions for diversity programs and LGBTQ equality. The US government now will recognize only two genders, male and female
