Considering the current warring atmosphere being observed along the India-Pakistan border, civilians in the border areas are being strongly advised to exercise caution. Those in vulnerable locations are being urged to evacuate on priority.
Incidentally, a similar situation unfolded for a significant number of Telugu people who found themselves stranded in these tense regions.
According to the latest reports, a total of 476 people from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have been evacuated from Jammu and Kashmir and other states sharing the border with Pakistan.
Reportedly, 350 students caught in the conflict-prone border zones have been relocated to New Delhi, the national capital. Out of these, 90 students have already returned to their hometowns in Andhra Pradesh, as confirmed by the Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in Delhi.
The Andhra Pradesh government is working closely with its Bhavan officials in Delhi to ensure the safe evacuation of Telugu residents from high-risk border areas. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has made it clear that the safety and well-being of the Telugu population across the country is a top priority.
