It wasn’t too long before the Covid outbreak created all sorts of panic in the Indian subcontinent. There were extensive lockdowns, red zones, and precautionary warnings regarding the outbreak.
But things have returned to normalcy over the last three years and panic subsided. But incidentally, something untoward has happened now as Andhra Pradesh reported its first Covid case in a long time now.
A woman from the Pithapuram colony in Vizag has contracted the Covid virus, and she is currently put on home quarantine along with her husband and kids. This is the first confirmed case of Covid in Andhra Pradesh after a long long time.
But nevertheless, the health and welfare ministry has intimated that there is no reason for the public to panic as there’s no outbreak or a pandemic situation for now.
The concerned authorities just cautioned the public to be aware of the situation and practice hygiene and social distancing in order to be on the safer side.
