Star shuttle player Saina Nehwal announced her separation from husband Parupalli Kashyap. The star couple made headlines for their travel videos and offering couple goals to the fans. However, after seven years of being together, the couple mutually decided to part ways. In this context, Saina confirmed the same on social media by sharing a note.
On Sunday night, Saina posted a personal update on Instagram.
“Life takes us in different directions sometimes. After much thought and consideration, Kashyap Parupalli and I have decided to part ways. We’re choosing peace, growth, and healing – for ourselves and each other. I’m grateful for the memories and wish nothing but the best moving forward. Thank you for understanding and respecting our privacy during this time,” Saina Nehwal wrote.
Both Saina and Kashyap are badminton players. They dated for a while before getting married officially. The couple got married in December 2018. They were trained at the Pullela Gopichand Academy in Hyderabad.
Parupalli Kashyap retired in 2024 and has since transitioned into coaching ever since.
