The new edition of the Asia Cup tournament has officially begun on September 9 and today happens to be the second day of the tournament. It is now time for India to officially start their tournament with their opening game scheduled to be played today, September 10.
India will be taking on host nation of United Arab Emirates in what appears to be a straightforward clash.
India will start the tournament as one of the favourites to win the Asia Cup and it is important that they start on a positive note against the UAE.
On paper, UAE might not look like any sort of a match to the mighty Indian lineup, but it needs to be noted that they are the host nation and will be better suited to the conditions. India might have to break a sweat to win this game, which is going to start at 6:30 PM IST.
The natural expectation is that India will make a very positive start to the tournament by comprehensively beating UAE, and it has to be seen whether this would be the case.
