Reports: Iran Finally Gave Good News To India?

India is currently undergoing a very peculiar situation due to the shortage of gas supply and also petroleum reserve. The government has been repeatedly stating that there are adequate resources but the common public is panicking and trying to buy excessive gas and petrol in advance as they prepare for the worst.

While the situations are developing very fast in India, something promising is reportedly happening at the global level.

According to the latest reports from national and international media channels, Iran is reportedly contemplating the area of permitting India bound oil tankers to pass through Strait of Hormuz.

The point to be noted here is that Iran had shut down this waterway passage after the conflict with United States. This resulted in a severe disruption in oil and gas transport which is affecting India very badly now.

And now, a positive development is reportedly emerging, as Iran is considering a proposal to allow oil vessels traveling to India to pass through this passage.

If this really turns out to be the case, then India can consider themselves very lucky as the ongoing crisis could be mitigate to a large degree with import of oil and gas. But this is a story in development, and an official announcement is yet to be made, so there are no conclusions here.

At the same time, there is a growing demand from the common public for the government to send out concerned ministers and comment on availability of natural gas and petroleum reserves.
